Fish snacks sell for over 1.5 billion yuan annually, with Jinzai Food's net profit increasing by nearly 40% in 2024

On the evening of March 24th, Jinzai Food released its 2024 annual report. In 2024, the company achieved a revenue of 2.412 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.79%; Net profit attributable to the parent company was 291 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.01%; Deducting non recurring net profit of 261 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 39.91%. It is worth noting that Jinzai Food's net profit in the fourth quarter of 2024 reached 76.622 million yuan, setting a new quarterly record high.


At the same time, Jinzai Food announced a dividend plan, planning to distribute 3 yuan in cash for every 10 shares. Combined with the previous mid-term dividends, the dividend amount for 2024 is as high as 179 million yuan, accounting for 61% of the net profit attributable to the parent company, sharing the development dividends with investors.


In the past three years, Jinzai Food has achieved doubled performance, with revenue and net profit doubling in 2024 compared to the average of 2021.


The annual report shows that Jinzai Food is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of Chinese style snack foods, and continues to focus on high-quality protein health categories such as snack fish products, poultry products, and soy products. During the reporting period, the main categories of Jinzai Food achieved steady growth. Among them, leisure fish products, poultry products, soy products, and vegetable products achieved sales revenue of 1.533 billion yuan, 509 million yuan, 247 million yuan, and 79 million yuan, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 18.76%, 12.67%, 13.89%, and 9.58%.


In 2024, Jinzai Food's fish products business revenue exceeded 1.5 billion yuan for the first time, further consolidating its title as the "number one fish snack stock". The company's fish products only have one product - Jingzai deep-sea anchovy, which has consistently ranked first in the category in sales for 8 consecutive years, with outstanding single item attributes. According to the latest disclosed production capacity data, the designed production capacity of Jinzai Food's fish products has reached 33000 tons and is still expanding, with a construction capacity of 6000 tons.


Since its listing, Jinzai Food has continued to promote the steady development of traditional offline distribution channels, modern channels, emerging channels, and online channels in a three-dimensional omni channel manner. Data shows that by 2024, the number of distributors of Jinzai Food will increase to 3406, with a net increase of 349.
Dong Mifeng Wenji from Jinzai Food introduced that in 2024, the company's offline revenue will reach 2.021 billion yuan, accounting for about 84% of the total revenue; Online revenue reached 391 million yuan, accounting for 16% of the total. Overall, offline performance is more impressive, with revenue increasing by approximately 23% year-on-year. On the one hand, it is the result of the company's further consolidation of offline channel construction; On the other hand, snack specialty channels have become a new growth point for offline channels, with annual revenue increasing by over 100% year-on-year.


Throughout its history, Jinzai Food has focused on growing together with emerging channels. During the reporting period, it has collaborated with over 100 snack specialty systems, including Snacks Busy, Zhao Yiming, Xiangxianglai, Sugar Nest, Snacks Youming, and Wives, covering more than 35000 terminal stores. In addition, the company will continue to deepen cooperation with high-end member stores such as Hema, and meet the needs of more consumer groups by providing customized products and services.


It is worth noting that Jinzai Food has accelerated its pace of going global. During the reporting period, the company's overseas sales increased by over 90% year-on-year, with self operated product exports growing even more rapidly, with a year-on-year increase of over 200%. At present, the company's products have been exported to about 40 countries and regions around the world, such as the United States and Japan.
